{Blog Series - KY Intimacy Challenge Day 4}

* This post mentions adult items - if that makes you squeal squeamish, then turn back now.

Day Four: Outside the Comfort Zone

Have you gotten a little too comfortable with your spouse (oh WOW honey...did that leave a skid mark)? I don't know about you, but there is nothing much that The Man and I keep from each other. We poop with the door open - scratch obscene areas whilst sitting on the couch - and kiss before brushing our teeth (eeeeeeeewwwwwww)...gross, I know. We have hit the big "C" word...Comfort...and in some ways it means that the mystery is completely gone from our relationship. There are ways to remain comfortable with each other while still being intimate. Today's exercises are here to show how it can be done!

Exercise #1: Day

There was a list of items that I reviewed and compared against what really goes on in our relationship. We do use smart phones and the TV in our room - along with leaving the door open while using the bathroom and flossing/brushing teeth/clipping nails in front of each other. Apparently all these things are a big no-no.

Exercise #2: Night

So, tonight we got to run around the house nekkie...which was interesting, seeing as we have 2 kids. Get your minds out of the gutter people, I put them to sleep first - good grief!! The Man and I sat and watched TV...with just the TV on...which was good because I am not at all impressed with my current self. It really just makes me shudder. Watching TV lead to the bedroom (I'm not quite sure how - oh wait, we were nekkie) and that was when I pulled out my secret weapon:
Oh yes, my friends...this stuff is fabulous. If you've never tried it before - I highly suggest adding it into your arsenal of tricks. You might notice a minty smell - kind of like a mint gum - but it really isn't so strong that it ruins the mood. His is blue - and Hers is purple. Put them together and your get a wonderful tingly sensation that really adds to the experience. Day #4 was more fun that I thought it would be...I mean, who knew watching TV nekkie would be so enjoyable?!

Wow, you should open a restaurant and even though I'm vegetarian I would call you up and order stuff.

The urge to punch my husband in the trachea is overwhelming during these times.

I tried that a few months ago and neither hubby nor myself saw the 'wow' factor with it. Glad that you did though. My gf swears by it!
