Lesson #102 - Hormones Were Created By Men
That is correct, ladies...you heard it here first! Now, more than ever, I am convinced that hormones were the creation of a male. I mean, they take over without the host's knowledge and lead to explosive rage, followed by outbursts of tears and topped off with mind-blowing sex.
You have GOT to be f*in kidding me!!!
The Man and I were driving home from our outing today and we were on a major road. All of a sudden this family of ducks (a mommy and about 6 babies) popped out of a drainage ditch in the median and started CROSSING THE BUSY STREET!!!!
AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Doesn't that mama duck know it is the lunch-hour rush?!?!?!
I seriously wanted to get out of the car and make sure the duck family made it across the street!!
I would have, too, except The Man made me stay in the car...booooo!!
In any case...as much as I didn't want to watch the duck family cross the street - I just HAD to...it is like looking at a train wreck...I just couldn't look away!! As soon as they made it across the street, I looked at The Man and just burst into tears!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!?! I hate hormones...hate them...with a passion!!!!! DARN HORMONES!!!!!

Over my blogging break, I cried at a commercial for Letters to Juliet and may or may not have sniffled at the end of a tween Disney movie. Hormones bite.
Hormones suck...period. That came out wrong but you know what I mean!
Once I start crying its like Niagara Falls...mix with the energizer bunny...b/c I'm still crying, and crying, and crying, and crying...
Actually I created all hormones, you have me to thank
What amazes me is how good I feel after a good boo hoo. Is that hormones or endorphins? Either way I know it's my body messing with me.
My husband finds it especially humorous (and endearing) when I say, "I don't KNOW why I'm crying!" Sometimes I really don't. Rotten hormones.
Let's see... I felt the need to protect the eggs in the nest on our balcony from crowes (fail) and cried at the beginning of the new Star Trek movie - I don't want to give away a spoiler. We'll just say parents of a new baby die. I sobbed.
I also cried this morning changing the baby's diaper while she had a fit / tantrum. But that might have been lack of sleep...
Hormones totally suck.

I am sorry, but I had to laugh at this post, hormones are known to send me over the edge from time to time, lol. I can so relate.
But really, those ducks are really cute.
