My girls are and have always been "below average" so I feel ya. Stopping in from Supah's, great posties :)
My girl has 90th percentile head and 25th weight. You do the math . . . we've got a big-headed tiny girl and she's PERFECT. I'm sure yours is too.
I hate how doctors make parents feel when their kid is below average. I mean good hell you are feeding her. She is just going to be little.
below average is okay. there is no norm now a days. Seriously, there isn't. What they consider below average now, will be norm in two years. is she healthy? Then you are good.
I totally know how you feel about the skinny kid - mine looks like I don't feed him. I'd much rather have that than obesity!
A vacation somewhere warm sounds wonderful. Let us in on your plans when you know them, I'd love to get out of this cold winter weather for a bit even if it is from my dining room chair and netbook.

Um...yeah, your babe. She's just fine! My friend's kids were underweight. Her oldest is in 3rd grade and is average.

So really, don't stress about the growth chart. :)

I wrote a post a few weeks back on my skinny kids and letters I get home from school about them. Drives me nuts! And yes, I think you are a good parent if your child isn't obese:)
My kids were chubsters. I didn't worry about that either and they are fine now.
PS Aruba is highly over-rated.
It's okay, my daughter was (and still is) below average in her weight.
Your baby IS perfect as is!!! {Hugs} to you, Mama!
