Least you got the priority's right lol! i would have done the exact same thing (in love with my grill). Glad everyone is ok over there though, i'm just so thankful that Sweden doesn't get hit by anything like these.
I love the pic of the grill!! One of my family's favorite memories was a Hurricane Party at my dad's house during Rita. Funny thing was we all travelled - from our homes that were more in the path - to Dad's to be safe and he was the only one who lost electricity!!! We all got so hot that we left and went back to our hurricane-free homes the next day!!
Awww it was definitely crazy! We had our own little hurricane party - but all we got were winds and about 3 leaves in our yard (ok, more than three, but you get the idea). Taking it that you were all okay.
Following back! Thanks for stopping by my crazy blog :)
HAHA - we're over protective of our grill, too. We brought it to my hubbys parents house to put in their garage. Just in case. Turns out the storm was pretty much nothing and we did all that worrying for nothing.
Grew up in New Orleans so I know what's it's like to be in or near a hurricane - carnivores have to protect their equipment :) hope everything was okay
Oh my goodness, you went through an actual hurricane! Jonah tends to be just as destructive but I imagine the real thing is much worse. Thanks for all of your terrific comments on my blog! Halloween is my favorite holiday too. You're definitely going to like my Friday finds for the next two months, haha!
